After our article on the best sensitivity settings in PUBG for ARs, we are back with a similar article for sniper rifles. As you probably know, adjusting the values for these settings can be crucial for the best performance in the game. This is especially true for the pro gamers, the ones who do this for a living. They can be streamers on youtube/twitch or professionals who participate in competitions. Most of us don’t care about the sensitivity settings, but if you are a pro, then this is one of the most critical aspects that can define the outcome of the game.
You must understand that these values are the ones that worked best for me. We have found this after experimenting with multiple combinations and we believe these are the most optimum ones. If you think that these are not working for you, you can always tweak these around and find your own perfect combination. But we would recommend that you give these a try first and see how it goes. Here too, you’ll need to adjust the settings on 4 parameters. Keep reading to know more.
Camera setting in PUBG means how fast you’ll be able to look around while aiming. This can be with or without a scope. The accepted norm is to decrease the sensitivity as the scope increases. Meaning, higher scopes require less sensitivity. Although this rule does not always apply when it comes to sniping. These values are a bit higher than those of assault rifles. The exact values are below.
- Third-person with no scope: 260-270%
- First-person with no scope: 260-270%
- Red Dot sight, Holographic, Aim Assist: 120-140%
- 2x Scope: 35-45%
- 3x Scope: 40-50%
- 4x Scope, VSS: 25-35%
- 6x Scope: 15-20%
- 8x Scope: 8-12%
This is the general setting when you look around without aiming. The eye tool you use to look around is affected by this setting.
- Third-person: 135-145%
- First-person: 80-85%
- Camera: 135-145%
Aim Down Sight Sensitivity
This is also known as ADS sensitivity. This setting does not affect the look around speed. Rather, it relates to the recoil when firing. The movement of weapons while firing and scoping in will be affected if you alter this setting. This will affect the speed when you move the camera while shooting. The best values are below
- Third-person with no scope: 200%
- First-person with no scope: 200%
- Red Dot sight, Holographic, Aim Assist: 100-110%
- 2x Scope: 75-85%
- 3x Scope: 35-40%
- 4x Scope, VSS: 30-35%
- 6x Scope: 20-25%
- 8x Scope: 10-14%
The gyroscope is the device in your phone that tracks the movement of the phone. As you tilt and turn your phone, the gyroscope detects that. PUBG makes use of this by adjusting the screen orientation according to the motion of your phone. These are the best values.
- Third-person with no scope: 300%
- First-person with no scope: 300%
- Red Dot sight, Holographic, Aim Assist: 300%
- 2x Scope: 250%
- 3x Scope: 170%
- 4x Scope, VSS: 75-80%
- 6x Scope: 65-70%
- 8x Scope: 50-55%
