CPU – Intel Core i7 9700K
The CPU is like that of the brain of a human being but for a computer, hence it is important that we choose a CPU that can handle all computer processes, games and productivity tasks efficiently. Considering all the above points, we have chosen Intel Core i7 9700Kas our CPU. The 9th gen i7 comes with 8 cores and 8 threads that provide phenomenal performance both in single-core and multi-core.
Why Intel i7-9700k?
The base frequency is 3.60 GHz that goes up to 4.90 GHz max turbo frequency. It also comes with 12MB SmartCache(Intel® Smart Cache refers to the architecture that allows all cores to dynamically share access to the last level cache.). All these specifications in simple terms mean that any software and AAA title will run smoothly.
GPU – GALAX GeForce® RTX 2060
The RTX 2060 is one of the best when it comes to price to performance ratio and delivers great graphics and speeds compared to previous generations of cards. There was a time when graphics cards were touching mountain peaks when it came to pricing, the costs now are much lower and the performance provided is much better. It comes with dual 90 mm cooling fans due to that will make sure the GPU doesn’t overheat, contains CUDA Cores 1920, Boost Clock of (MHz) 1695, 192-bit GDDR6 Memory Interface, and Standard Memory Config of 6GB which is quite sufficient for all the AAA’s.
RAM – CORSAIR 16GB Vengeance
The Corsair 16 GB Vengeance LPX DDR4 of 3000MHz provides a great frequency and is of CL16 type hence reducing the power usage by 30%-40%, there is XMP 2.0 support for trouble-free automatic overclocking. This makes sure that multitasking is a breeze.
CABINET – Series CC-9011050-WW
Corsair is an all-rounder with pc components and the carbide series of cabinets specifically the CC series provides great space for the motherboard and all components. It is a mid-tower steel gaming case because it contains seven PCIe slots with room for long graphics cards up to 420 mm long, Dust filters for front and PSU intake, USB 3.0 front port with internal connector, and Large side panel window. It overall provides good airflow and is perfect for our build.
POWER SUPPLY – Corsair CP-9020098-UK VS Series
Corsair CP-9020098 has power of 650 watts that is more than enough for all our components, comes with 0.99 active power factor correction, The 120 mm fan is thermally controlled, so it only spins at maximum speed when it’s pushed to its limits, the VS series provides 85% efficiency, hence this is a great power supply for our build. The fan speed does not cause much sound either.
MOTHERBOARD – MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Plus LGA1151
The Motherboard is the heart of a computer and so we have to choose a motherboard that can support all our parts and provide the best slots and ports for our build. Hence, we decided to go for MSI Z390 board which supports LGA1151 socket that supports our i7 9700k processor.
Supports DDR4 Memory, up to 4400(OC) MHz, supports Intel CNVi Wi-Fi module, IEEE802.11 AC wave2, providing a high speed wireless network connection, comes with audio boost for a great surround sound experience while gaming Contains 4 ram slots that support up to 128 gb memory, 4 USB 3.1 ports at the front and 4 at the back. 4 USB 2.0 ports at front and 2 at rear. All of these specs make this motherboard the best choice that supports our budget.
STORAGE – WD 1TB & wd green 240gb
Here we will use WD green 240 GB SSD and 1TB HDD. The SSD provides a great experience when it comes to loading time and shutting downtime of windows, windows loads within 8 seconds on an SSD. SSD can read sequential data at a speed of about 550 megabytes per second (MBps) and write it at 520 MBps a fast HDD can put out only 125MBps. We use standard 1tb HDD from WD which comes in at 7200 RPM and is sufficient for storage.
Additional Accessories – Cooler
The CPU might not come with a stock cooler in the box, besides stock coolers and quite reliable for a gaming pc. Cooler Master Hyper H410R is a good choice because it is the cheapest stock cooler that you can buy from an e-commerce site of your choice.
