Bethesda Softworks is back in the news for all the right reasons. The buzz around the gaming world is about their upcoming role-playing game Starfield. Starfield is their first IP in 25 years, and gamers all around the world are excited to get their hands on it. The details are mysterious as the company has been reluctant to divulge any vital information. They have only released a teaser trailer that doesn’t reveal too much and only increases the curiosity of the viewers. However, there are some crucial aspects of the game that we know about and would love to share them with you.
Starfield: What is the game all about?
As far as we know, Starfield is a role-playing game and will be set in outer space. Bethesda Softworks, who are the creators of best selling games like Fallout and Elder scrolls are developing this game. They announced the game way back in 2018 which was a shock to most of the gaming community. Todd Howard, who is a top executive at Bethesda used the words “our next-generation, single-player epic” to describe the game. Since then, there has been little or no information from the side of the company on this matter. Gamers and fanatics like us have been left to speculate on what the game might actually feel like.
Nobody knows when Starfield will hit the markets. Some people are placing their bets on the year 2020, which is the year we are in. Bethesda has a knack of surprising fans with shock announcements and many believe that they’ll do the same again. Mind you, 2020 is the earliest estimate that we are making; it could still be a couple of more years before the game actually arrives. Todd Howard has stressed that “everyone should be very, very patient”. In a separate statement, Bethesda told that Starfield will arrive before the Elder Scrolls 6. What we do know for sure is that it will come after the release of the next generation of consoles.
